The Good Word...

In every author's life the time comes when they need a little "boost"... something to encourage them to kick it in higher gear. When that time rolls around I go Google myself to see where I might show up. And in this case--well, it was well worth it. Found a few reviews I wasn't aware of . So thought I would share the Good Words with y'all.

Honeysuckle
~This second in the absurdly delicious re-invented tale of Arthur and his Knights is just as appealing as the first. I love a woman unafraid to stand up to one man, let alone two. The tempo of the tale is fast-paced, the sex more than lively, and the new character additions absolutely incredible. This is turning into a keep to read again series when you need a lift. Check it out here...

Daffodil~This last in the saga of Arthur continues the simply irreverent hilarity of witches, trolls, dragons, spies and some amazing sex. I found the play on the names of the characters in the "Earth" tale fun and while the main players have resolved their issues it would be interesting to see if Ms. Cook might be able to possibly expand the tale a bit more. I like this version as its upbeat attitude is a quick pick up. Check it out here...

Ms. Cook is a talented author who pens a fantasy world where the impossible can exist as well as bringing to life fairytales for the adult generation. More....

If you want a story that has intriguing characters, a roller coaster of a story and erotic passion sprinkled amid the pages, than grab DAFFODIL as well as Chrysanthemum and Honeysuckle. You will definitely want to run off to Came-a-lot yourself to grab your own very virile dragon or men. Read the entire blog...

Chrysanthemum is a wonderful twist to the King Arthur tales. I love the way the author makes it her own and shares with the reader the "real" story of what happened long ago. The character names are hysterical and had me laughing all the way through the story. The love scenes are pretty hot and definitely kept the blood flowing. I can't say enough about this story or this author who has definitely won over a new fan. Anny Cook has a wickedly delightful imagination and I for one can't wait to read the next book she pens. More! More!

Reviews~~What do they mean? They indicate that one person--a person that reads a LOT of books--has read your book and written a review stating what they thought about your book. So, that's pretty good. Especially if they liked your book. That's the way you want it to be. Since Honeysuckle and Daffodil were the last two books of mine released, most of the reviews were for those two books. There was one for the first book in that series--Chrysanthemum.

Have to tell a little story on myself. When I began Chrysanthemum, I could not spell her name for anything. But let me tell you--after you type a word a few hundred times with spell check on, you learn to spell it. Very proud of myself, too. Now I don't feel like I'm cheating if I just call her Chrys!

  6. Oooh. Congrats. This doesn't surprise me at ALL. Isn't it funny how some words are just impossible to GET??? Normally I'm a good speller but some just have a tendancy to stick in my head the wrong way!!!!
