Monday, Monday

I haven't decided why Monday has such a bad rap. Personally, I think Tuesday is much worse. On Monday, you're still a little rested from the weekend. By Tuesday, you're tired and you know you have the entire rest of the week to face. Ugh.

In our household we seem to have everything scheduled on Tuesday. Laundry. Doctor Appointments. Car work. Grocery shopping. Why?

Mostly, it's because we say, "We don't want to be out in the hustle and bustle on Monday because everyone else will be out. We'll wait until Tuesday." Bad choice.

Maybe we should wait until Wednesday...

  1. I'm completely with you about Mondays. I don't find they're too bad. Tuesdays are definitely worse.

  3. I'm not a fan of Sundays. I've found them depressing ever since I was a kid. Am I weird?

  4. If you have to get up and leave home and go to work and start another futile week then you'd understand the pukeability factor of Monday. It takes you away from where you want to be and what you'd rather be doing

  5. Yep. I did that for...oh ...about forty years. Only my work week was sometimes seven days a week and sometimes is was Saturday through Thursday and sometimes the workday was noon to ten PM or four to two AM.

I figure almost everyone has at least one day every week they face with dread. For me, at this time in my life...it's Tuesday.
