On one of the coldest Fourth of July evenings that I remember in a long time (61 degrees) I went with my family and sat on the banks of the Hudson River to watch a wonderful fireworks extravaganza. People milled all around us. Boats crowded the river waters. The city fire boat offered a display of water sprays that were colored from the shore. It was a lovely evening.
I hope you, too, had a lovely holiday weekend.

I was actually social for the second holiday in a row. We went to a carnival for deep fried oreos and fresh squeezed lemonade.
ReplyDeleteOooh YUM, Barb. And Anny, the fireworks must have been beautiful over the water. Our display was rained out this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the fireworks!
